We must continue marching.

The fall of the late Jigme Norbu lag, took its toll on all of us; his humble foot-steps shook the ground and left an imprint that the rest of us can follow. His legacy has ended in the physical sense, so now we can no longer see him marching, nor can we hear the sound of his inspirational voice speak for the basic rights of the Tibetan people.  But what has not changed, and can never be changed is his presence in our hearts that we can all feel, even right now. That feeling can some -times make us sad, and leave us confused asking why do the good always die young? But the fact is that his imprint in our hearts will always be there, and that proves to us that he will never be gone. We keep him alive, so we shouldn’t worry.

There are two things we can do to preserve his legacy, if we truly miss him and wish to prove it. One step is to pray for his soul, which is why we are all gathered here today. We pray that he will return once again as a young motivated Tibetan , in a family with all the love and inspiration a child deserves.

But after that, we must keep an eye on the bigger picture. That is to keep his mission alive, his legacy going, so that his life’s work can be part of a wonderful triumph. We know that he isn’t here anymore, but what we must also acknowledge that there is work left unfinished.

Jigme Norbu lag, dedicated his life for Tibet, so in honor of his sacrifice we fellow Tibetans must carry his mission of an independent Tibet, and continue marching. We all must wake up tomorrow with an extra bit of dedication and conviction for our cause. This is how we pay homage to him and his dream of a FREE TIBET. We are all young members of Tibetan Youth Congress, so we know very little about this matter, but we wanted to make sure that we establish an appropriate atmosphere for this prayer.

Jigme Norbu lag traveled great lengths to take our cause this far, let us all keep marching until we reach Tibet. Bod Gyal Lo.

7 Dirty Words - to discribe George Carlin

Defiant - Sunday school’s trouble maker, High School dropout, discharged from the Air Force soldier.

Taboo -  Politics, Linguistics, Psychology, Religion, Social Behavior, War, Children, Parenting, and Conformity

Multicultural - A predisposition to find humanity fascinating and contradictory, always looking at the big world, the little world, and humanity’s bullshit.

Bitter - Angry and upset, he relieves his frustrations and channels his negative energy by creatively striking back at everything and everyone that ever did him wrong by making fun of it.

Proactive - Starting in the early 1960’s with a total of 19 released albums, 5 unreleased albums, 16 films, 17 TV appearances, and 15 HBO specials. Plus 7 books published, and 5 audio books.

Sacrilegious - Born in a Irish family, raised Roman Catholic, he said more people have died because of religion than any other reason.

Tireless - Till his dying day he worked on his art and made ground breaking Avant-Garde poetry never told so honestly.

I’m going to miss him dearly, but I’ll do my best to be the most honest lowlife you ever came across.
